I am lucky to call myself a wife, a mother to six amazing children. I am passionate about helping educate people about Albinism. I love Africa, especially Ethiopia. I love the culture and the people. I love to take a few good photos, I love to see my children thriving and happy and I love my life, although at times might seem a bit chaotic to some. It seems as though I am happiest with many things to do. I love a good remodel or painting project. I love to turn a house into a "home". I love the thought of returning to Ethiopia to live and do service one day.
Our adoption story...Thoughts and photos to remember our amazing journey to Ethiopia to bring our girls home! We arrived just before Christmas, 2007. Six amazing, unique children all under one roof!
Yesterday we traveled to Hosanna. It is where we saw an amazing small village. Most of the pictures were taken in the village. We stopped along the roadside and were able to tour a hut where you will see the children inside and Dean and Corey outside with village children. We are doing well, we are in love with this country. The pictures of the dancers were from a dinner we attended and had an amazing time.
Congrats, Dean and Deb! Looks like an exciting adventure and wonderful additions to the family! I'm glad Kathy sent me the link yesterday so I could see and read about it. Love, John (Christensen)
It looks like you toured the same hut we did in July when picking up my two from CHSFS Ethiopia. It is so nice to see that baby crawling. I too loved Ethiopia and can't wait to go back someday when my kids are older. I love the pics of your girls. Just keeping looking at them because they change so quickly. Claudia
