It seems like we might be waiting for our referral now until sometime in September. We really thought we would hear something this past week but we didn't get the call. We are confident that this is for a reason but yet still disappointed at the same time. It's hard when you are so ready to have your new babies added to your family. The unknown sometimes brings about weary feelings.
We decided to have a family chat and plan some fun things for the kids this summer. I am amazed how fast time passes if you don't put these things on the calendar. It was fun to get their input and suggestions as to what they thought was "fun".
We will continue to pray and hope for our miracle phone call. xoxo.

I don't know if this is a fun solution for you and your family, but a bunch of Ethiopian adoptive families are meeting at the South Jordan park on Friday... I would love it if your family wanted to go... give me a call if you are interested.

Hey...well I did try to post a comment last week in preparation for your deadline...but it looks like it didn't make it....sorry. I know having to wait til Sept. will be long ..but like you said it could be for some reason you may never know. What is meant to be is meant to be. We know how anxious you all are and like you we can't wait either!...I would love to know what "fun" is to your kiddos!...It will go by quickly I'm sure!...We love you. the Reece's
